We only rep indie bands and solo artists, duo’s, trio’s…artists who can communicate ideas through their music…Other criteria? Must play their own songs onstage – stuff that the punters like! Good looking, cool….? It all helps! But we are really about the songs – music that moves people, makes the listener sit up and pay attention. And we listen well! Our benchmark is the standard of music of the 60s and 70s and the many class acts since. So get writing, get rehearsed and we’ll always be ready to listen. ACMEBROADC@STS is an independent record label established to promote and give life to new music and new artists, in that order.
When the label as an entity – comprising switched on eyes and ears – is convinced that any music discovered has true value in musical and entertainment terms, and the potential to move the listening public, we will act accordingly, providing and committing whatever resources we can to make that music available to a wider public – usually in the hands of the artist who wrote or conceived the musical idea – and produced to the extent that it will make the original musical idea appeal to the widest possible audience.
Any artist we sign will be given total freedom in their pursuit of new music and in refining their original work to the point it is ready for recording and production and then release.
We will always defer to the artists preferences when it comes to his or her music, except when it interferes with the commercial viability of the company; but we will always seek to set new standards and find new and significant genres of music wherever we can, but without bankrupting the company.
It is our wish to find the best music industry professionals, the most talented professionals and the most creative of industry professionals to assist us in producing the best music we possibly can.
